CROSSROADS
CHAPEL is part of the United States Army
Chapel NEXT community of contemporary worship services.
We strive to create a relaxed atmosphere to promote worship
that is focused on knowing God personally. You can expect to find people in our
congregation who are not perfect, but who want to grow in their relationship
with God. You will find a place where people accept and love you as God's
child. You can start new friendships where you build each other up to be all
that God intended you to be. You can expect an atmosphere where you are
welcomed, pointed to Christ by music, teaching, preaching, discipleship, and
invited to get to know people who have a lot in common with you.
Common Elements In Our Worship Service:
While we strive to create a relaxed atmosphere we have a number of
elements that are common to many different worship styles.
Announcements:
At the beginning of each service there is a very brief time for
announcements. Generally the majority of our announcements are made
via Power Point slides prior to the beginning of the service.
Announcements are also made in our monthly bulletin. Finally, during the
announcement time we also have a quick time of fellowship where we greet one
another.
Songs of Praise & Worship:
Generally our music is comprised of contemporary music (both recent and
classic). Also on special occasions there may be an old time hymn.
Offering:
As a guest we do not expect any finical assistance from you when the
offering plate is passed. It is our pleasure to serve you. If you
decided to become a regular attendee of our service what you give in the
offering plate is between you and God. Several times a year we take
directed designated offerings. To find out more about designated offerings

offerings as an act of worship.
Sermon:
We use a team preaching approach here at
CROSSROADS CHAPEL.
Our Preaching Pastor generally preaches twice a month with the other two
co-pastors preaching once a month. We use both thematic and exegetical
styles of preaching. Normally the message lasts anywhere from 15 to 25
minutes and always focuses on practical application of the Christian faith.
Prayer and Healing:
Several times a month, based upon the leading of the Spirit of God we
conclude the service with a time of prayer at the altar. Those wanting
prayer and or healing are invited to come forward so that ministry teams
can prayer and if requested anoint with oil.
Communion:
The celebration of communion is the most important sacrament observed
at CROSSROADS CHAPEL.
With the assistance of our ushers communion is distributed to all members of the
congregation so that we all may partake together at the same time (wafers and
grape juice). Generally communion is celebrated towards the beginning of
each month.
